We don't ask you to guess from a generic chart. Every single bag has its own measured diagram, drawn from that exact style — with the real numbers on it. This page shows you how to read one.

Where to find it

Open any bag's product page and tap Product Information, just under the Add to Cart button. That panel is specific to the bag you're looking at: its own photo, its own measurements, its own spec table. There's a Capacity panel next to it showing the same bag actually being packed, and a Material panel for what it's made of.

How to read the diagram

Product information diagram showing strap drop, height, base length and depth measurements on a shoulder bag
Example: Paradise Pleat Shoulder Bag
On the diagram What it means
Upper left line
32–59 cm
Strap drop. From the top of the strap down to the top of the bag — how far the bag hangs. A range means the strap adjusts.
Lower left line
25 cm
Height. Base to top opening. Handles and straps are not counted.
Bottom line
38.5 cm
Base length. Measured across the bottom of the bag, not the widest flare.
Short right line
9 cm
Depth. Front to back. This is the number that decides how much the bag really swallows.
Line under the drawing Says whether the strap is adjustable and whether it detaches.

Every bag is measured by hand, so allow a 2–3 cm tolerance either way.

The table underneath

Below the drawing, five lines of plain fact:

Model The style code, e.g. MU-1596. Useful if you message us about it.
Material The actual outer material — split cowhide, cow suede, polyester fibre, canvas.
Net weight The empty bag, in grams. Worth checking if you carry all day.
Structure What's inside: slip pockets, zip pockets, compartments.
Packaging What arrives in the box — most bags come with a gift box, dust bag and filler.

Roughly, across the range

If you just want a feel before you open anything, the smallest bag we make is 17 cm and the largest is 40 cm. They fall into four bands:

Class Base length What it takes
Mini 17–21 cm Cards, keys, lip balm, earbuds. A phone fits the 20 cm shapes; it will not fit the 17 cm one.
Small 22–26 cm Phone, slim wallet, keys, sunglasses. The taller shapes also take a compact umbrella.
Medium 27–32 cm All of the above plus a water bottle, a paperback and a small pouch.
Large 33 cm and up A full day out. Many of these also take a 13" laptop — see below.

Strap drop, roughly

Drop Type Where it sits
4–14 cm Top handle, fixed In the hand, or hooked over the wrist. Most are 8–10 cm.
23–50 cm Shoulder strap, fixed On the shoulder, bag at the waist. Most are 27–30 cm.
26–68 cm Adjustable, usually detachable Crossbody at the longest setting — most land around 52–57 cm, which sits at the hip.

62 styles have an adjustable strap and 51 of those detach completely.

Will a laptop fit?

Honestly: usually not. A 13" laptop is about 30.5 × 21.5 cm, and most of our range is designed around a phone-and-wallet day. These eleven styles take one:

Our backpacks do not take a laptop — they are 28 × 12 × 20 cm and 24 × 10 × 23 cm, which is tablet territory.

Two things the numbers don't tell you

Soft bags give. Cow suede and unlined polyester shapes hold noticeably more than their measurements suggest. Structured split-leather shapes hold slightly less.

Watch the depth. A bag listed at 12 cm deep is a different object from one at 8 cm deep, even when the length matches. Depth is where the capacity lives.
