Ordering

What currency are prices in?

Canadian customers see and pay in Canadian dollars (CAD); U.S. customers in U.S. dollars (USD). The currency is set by your shipping country.

Can I change or cancel my order?

If it hasn't shipped, yes — email us with your order number as soon as you can.

Do you restock sold-out colours?

Sometimes, but not reliably. Many of our styles are made in a single production run per colourway, so if a colour matters to you, don't wait on it.

Products

What are your bags made of?

Around three quarters of the range is real leather — cow suede or split cow leather, with a few styles in full-grain cowhide. The rest are polyester fibre, canvas or denim. Linings are polyester or microfiber velvet, with nylon, taslan or cotton on specific styles. The exact material and lining are listed on every product page under Material.

Are the charms leather too?

No — charms are mostly microfiber and microfiber synthetic leather, with some in plush polyester or artificial wool. That's deliberate: they're meant to be soft, light and hard-wearing where they knock against a bag.

Will a 13" laptop fit?

In eleven of our larger styles, including the Puzzle Colour Block Hobo Bag, Happy Gathering Stack Bag and Stroll Soft Tote. The full list, with measurements, is on the Size Guide. Our backpacks do not fit a laptop — they're 28 × 12 × 20 cm and 24 × 10 × 23 cm.

How do I know a bag is big enough?

Every product page has a Product Information panel with exact dimensions and strap drop, and a Capacity panel showing the bag actually being packed. Bags are measured by hand, so allow 2–3 cm either way.

Are the colours accurate?

We shoot every colourway on a white background so you can compare them honestly. Screens still vary. If a colour isn't what you expected, that's a change-of-mind return and we'll take it back.

Can I buy a strap separately?

Not yet. 62 of our styles come with an adjustable strap and 51 of those detach, so most styles already give you both a short and a long carry.

Are the designs original?

Yes. Every series is designed in-house by muva. official, registered through the Alibaba Original Design Protection platform and filed for a design patent before it goes on sale.

Shipping & returns

Do you offer free shipping?

Orders over $169 USD ($234 CAD) ship free. Below that, shipping is $5.99 USD / $8.99 CAD for charms only, and $9.99 USD / $13.99 CAD for any order with a bag. Adding a charm to a bag never raises the shipping cost. See Shipping & Returns for the full table.

How long does delivery take?

Orders are packed within 1–2 business days, then take 5–7 days in transit.

Do you ship to the United States?

Yes. We ship to Canada and the contiguous United States. Any duties are calculated at checkout, so there's nothing to pay on delivery.

What's your return window?

14 days from delivery, unused and in original condition. See Shipping & Returns.

Care

How do I clean suede?

Brush it dry with a soft suede brush, in one direction, and never soak it. Full instructions on the Care Guide.

Can I take a bag out in the rain?

No bag we make is waterproof. If it gets caught, blot it dry immediately with a soft cloth and let it finish drying flat at room temperature — away from radiators.

My pale bag picked up colour from my jeans.

Dye transfer from dark denim is common on light leather and suede, especially in the first few wears. It isn't a defect, and it's much easier to avoid than to remove — see Care Guide.
