ZhuZhu
I've collected so many beads,
and opened up the story inside each one.
One, then two…
I want to string all the sweetness together,
but then the story would run very long.
Would you like to stay and hear me tell it, slowly?
Where it started: a puffed, rounded handle knotted at each end, over a curved crescent or a compact zip-top Boston. In glossy leather, suede and hand-woven strips, and a whole row of colours.
Sweet Layers
One little bite —
squish, squish —
out comes the filling,
and the joy can't stay hidden either.
A plush suede base under a pale, soft top layer, like a slice of layer cake, with rounded leather handles and a zip around the top. Bowling bag, shoulder bag, crossbody and mini pouch.
Hopscotch Tales
With a stick of red chalk
I painted a roof onto every little "town".
Up on my tiptoes,
hopping across the coloured squares,
glass marbles clinking in my pocket.
Back then my playground was bigger than the whole world.
Every square I drew as a child seemed to say:
don't stay boxed in.
Now, let the Hopscotch bag wander the city's side streets with you —
picking up small joys, quietly packing your freedom in.
A small, structured shape with a belted front and rounded handles, pieced from blocks of suede or two tones of colour. Also as a backpack, a garden tote and a mini pouch.
Breakfast
Early morning — pick up a little slice of toast.
One bite: soft and fragrant, and in goes a smile.
Bring a small hope,
and off we go.
Puffy, pillow-soft leather and a full breakfast table: a long roll, a mini pillow, a pretzel handle and a bubble, plus dumplings, siu mai, wontons and a picnic box.
Wander
Just out for a wander.
Shake every worry loose.
Pockets bulging,
filled up with wind —
and filled up with happiness too.
Soft leather and suede that slouch, swing and fold: hobos and crescents that curve into your side, pleated flaps, a mini roll, a mailman satchel and the Swing Bag on its long strap.
Roly-Poly
Take yourself for a walk in the spring.
Fill the basket with good food.

and feel nature, with nothing holding you back.
Shaped like a triangle onigiri and cinched at the front with a bow. In leather, plush teddy and a hand-woven finish, plus a slouchy triangle tote that folds flat.
Jingle
The wind sets everything
gently swaying.
Ding-a-ling, ding-a-ling —
the breeze and the bells are playing.
A soft leather crescent on a knotted strap that goes from shoulder to crossbody, the Kite tote whose little heart charms jingle as you walk, and the gathered Happy Gathering stack tote.
Flower Bud
Shall we go to the park?
Watch a single blossom fall from the tree,
stroll unhurried across the green,
or do nothing at all —
just one enormous yawn,
and you and your worries are even.
A soft, rounded body with gently pinched sides, like a bud about to open, and a curved handle knotted at each end. Small as a handbag, or grown up into a tote.

Then crack open a can of sparkling water —

Holiday
Today I don't want to deal with anything.
So I dive head-first into a fluffy cloud,
wrapped up completely in something impossibly soft,
and every bad mood
pops away in an instant.
